Citrix Help Page

What is Citrix?
Citrix is software that allows you to submit proposals or comments from your computer directly into our FileMaker database system. It was implemented to allow the submission of legislative text (bold, strikethrough, underline, etc), and to make the submission process quicker, easier and more direct. Citrix is used by many organizations world-wide, and is a trusted and secure system. If you'd like to read more about Citrix and its various applications, please visit the Citrix web site.

Please note:
These systems require you to download and install the Citrix client software. Select your operating system below to download the necessary file. If you do not have permission to install software/downloads on your computer, please contact your IS department for help.

If you are having trouble with the download, turn off your virus proection/pop-up/download blockers and turn them back on again when the Citrix client is installed.

The ICA Client requires Port 1494 to be open for outbound ICA traffic on your firewall. Generally most firewalls allow all outbound traffic although this may not be possible for everyone. If the Port is not open you will receive a message saying that the server is not accepting connections.

*NFPA is providing electronic balloting to you as an additional means for you to submit your ballot to us. The use of this system is optional, we will accept your ballot on paper, or fax.
